Second International Scientific Conference Kicks Off with the Participation of Shamil Bank of Yemen & Bahrain (SBYB)

Under the theme “The Banking Sector in Yemen and Its Role in Economic Recovery and Reconstruction,” the activities of the Second International Scientific Conference commenced on Monday at the Coral Hotel in Aden, and will continue for three days from February 9 to 11, 2026.
The conference features active and distinguished participation by Shamil Bank of Yemen & Bahrain, as a key partner in this important scientific event, alongside a number of banks and financial institutions.
The conference brings together a select group of experts, specialists, and practitioners in the banking and economic fields to exchange insights and expertise, and to present working papers and scientific research aimed at developing policies and strategies that support the stability and prosperity of the Yemeni economy.
Shamil Bank of Yemen & Bahrain’s participation in this conference, organized by the University of Science and Technology – Aden, in strategic partnership with the Central Bank of Yemen, stems from the bank’s commitment to its social responsibility and its keen interest in actively contributing to initiatives that serve the national economy, highlight practical solutions to current challenges, and enhance confidence in the banking sector as a fundamental pillar of development.
