Conclusion of the second conference on digital transformation in Yemen and its accompanying exhibition
Today, Thursday, November 16, 2023 AD, the second conference on digital transformation in Yemen and its accompanying exhibition concluded, which lasted for 3 days. This conference and its accompanying exhibition were held with golden sponsorship from the Shamil Bank of Yemen & Bahrain.
It is worth noting that this conference on digital transformation in Yemen was opened on Tuesday, November 14, with broad participation from official and private bodies and several interested specialists in this field.
The opening of this conference and the exhibition accompanying it was attended by the Bank’s Deputy General Manager for Operations, Mr. Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Naqeeb, and the Assistant General Manager for Branch Support, Mr. Ameen Muhammad Al-Raimi, in addition to the Marketing Manager of the Bank and the Manager of Electronic Money (Shamil Money).
During the period of the conference, which lasted for 3 days and was organized by the We Are All Creative Organization and with golden sponsorship from the Shamil Bank of Yemen & Bahrain, many working papers were presented by several specialists in Yemen and from some Arab countries who were hosted in an online conference were discussed and reviewed.
The bank’s contribution to this second conference on digital transformation in Yemen was out of its belief in supporting the process of Yemen’s transformation towards digital transactions and keeping pace with developments by supporting activities and events that enhance the digital transformation process in Yemen in a way that reflects positively on this field.
The bank made an active contribution to this conference and the accompanying exhibition by establishing a special pavilion for the bank’s Shamil Money wallet within the exhibition
pavilions, to raise awareness of electronic and digital services and provide these services to visitors to the exhibition in a way that helps in the process of digital transformation in the financial and banking field.
A working paper was presented at this conference on digital transformation in Yemen, was presented by Engineer Muhammad Hamoud Al-Sama’i, manager of the Shamil Money electronic wallet.
