On Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, Global Money Week events in Aden were concluded, with the active participation of Shamil Bank of Yemen and Bahrain (SBYB). These events included various activities organized by the Global Money Week Committee, sponsored by the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY).
A special exhibition on financial and banking services was also organized in this event, in which various banks and financial institutions participated. During this three-day event, SBYB played an active role through the activities, shows/presentations, and competitions it presented at this exhibition, through which it aimed to enhance financial awareness and literacy among youth and children in particular.
It is worth mentioning that the bank's participation in Global Money Week events takes place within the bank's strategy to work jointly with various banks and financial institutions to achieve financial inclusion and promote financial literacy among a wide and broad cross-section of society, as a shared social responsibility.
