International Financial Reporting Standard No. (9) (IFRS9), and Financial Accounting Standard No. (30).
The training began with the trainer discussing the concept and nature of international standards and the recent updates in financial standards, specifically Financial Reporting Standard No. (9) (IFRS9) and Standard No. (30), which began to be applied internationally.
The foundations and principles of financial reporting on financial assets were discussed, how to present appropriate and useful information to financial statements users and decision makers, and how to evaluate and determine possibilities for future cash flows.
The trainer touched on the most important requirements for applying the standards...etc.). In the context of his explanation of the international standards, the international trainer, Mr. Jum’ah Humaidat, used a mix of training tools and techniques, such as the theoretical explanation of the standards, and then the practical use of the standards, explaining with a set of practical examples.
At the end of the training program, the Deputy General Manager for Operations, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Naqeeb, delivered a speech of thanks to the international trainer/Mr. Jum’ah Humaidat and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization for the best efforts in making the training program a success and for the excellent preparation and coordination.
The Human Resources (HR) Department and the Training Department of the bank also appreciated the international trainer/ Jum’ah Humaidat for the best efforts he made in explaining and clarifying the training program items that will contribute to raising the knowledge of staff and developing their skills, as well as it thanked the attendees for their active participation and good discussions that contributed to understanding the standards as required.
The Human Resources Department (HR) and Training Department also thanked Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization for the wonderful coordination that clearly contributed to the success of the training program.
The training program was concluded with distributing Certificates of Participation to the trainees, where the Deputies to General Manager of the Bank, Mr. Abbas Nasser and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Naqeeb, participated in the honoring, together with the Assistant General Manager for Branches Affairs, Mr. Ameen Al-Raimi, HR Manager, Mr. Abdul-Ghani Al-Khameri, and the Bank's Training Department, Mr. Yasser Hulaiqa, and in the presence of the Training Manager at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, Mr. Hisham Morgan.
